Integrity Bank

Last night was our Railton Christmas party. We had food, gifts, but most importantly fun!

There was one gift that we all received, which was a personalized piggy bank, with "Integrity Bank" written on the side! To the un-Railtonized eye, this would look strange, but to us it was awesome!

For the past three months we have been closely focusing on Integrity and Living Above Reproach. It may be one thing to be doing the right thing, but if it looks to others that you are doing wrong things then things can get out of hand! I'm sure we remember the 'grape vine' or the 'gossip vine' from highschool, well this is what can happen if we do not make sure we are living above reproach.

Our Facebook's are a great example of where your integrity can be helped or harmed. If a friend of mine wrong something on my wall, even if it is innocent that sounds bad or they type an inappropriate word, then it is there for the whole world to see. If we were a prospective candidate for a youth worker job or any job for that matter, and our facebook or myspace account displayed things that were out of character, then the job can be in jeopardy.

Even though at times it can be really hard to make sure I am always living above reproach, it is something that I am striving for and each of the Railton classmates are helping each other along in this area.
